Kettering u3a offers the opportunity to participate in 25 activity groups. The groups are organised and run by members, for members.

The frequency of group sessions varies from weekly to monthly depending on the nature of the activity. Groups meet mornings, afternoons or evenings, again depending on the activity. Most group sessions are 2hrs duration, however, some may be for the whole morning or afternoon. Groups vary in size from 4 - 6 members up to as many as 30+.

Meetings take place in local halls, members' houses or other venues appropriate to the activity. There is usually no charge for the activity other than a small contribution towards hire of the room or refreshments etc. Some groups may make a small charge for materials or equipment.
